I’m a Caribbean woman resident in Accra, Ghana. My friends and family have taken to calling me a “Renaissance Woman” because I have several passions and interests, many of which I pursue with the aim of excellence.
Here are some of the things I love:
- I love God, and I’m an unapologetic champion of my faith and its principles.
- I love music, art, and beautiful things; both making them and enjoying them.
- I love words; both reading and writing them.
- I love solving problems, beautifully and functionally.
- I love, love making money.
- Totally not relevant, but I love me a good turtleneck.
Each of my loves has led me to at least one of the things which occupy my time on any given day, so I think it only right to share with you some of the things which take up my time.
- I write books aimed at cultivating “thinking” Christians. My belief in the value of my faith and its principles, my love of words, and my desire to solve problems led me here.
- I own and run a content group called Wakonté. Our aim is to create platforms for African and Caribbean people. To that end, I’ve built an online magazine dedicated to telling authentic African and Caribbean stories, and I’ve launched a publishing house dedicated to the work of African and Caribbean authors. My love of music, art, and beautiful things, throupled with my love for making money and solving problems, has led me here.
- I build companies. If a problem bothers me enough, I will build something to solve it. For example, last year, I launched a digital project called notes. dedicated to providing syllabus-tailored, high quality learning resources for WASSCE and CXC students from across West Africa and the Caribbean. My love for solving problems, and beautiful things brought me here.
- I try to become a millionaire. Daily. My love for making money and soft life, has led me here. 😂😂😂
So now, you know a few things about me. Hopefully, I’m interesting enough to keep you coming back here. If you feel like you want to know me even better [my life for the most part, is an open book], scroll down to find out how you can connect with me.
